Job summary

Corin Group is seeking a Metrology Engineer to support Quality and Manufacturing. You will develop metrology solutions, manage CMM and vision systems, and contribute to NPIs, investigations, and process validation.

This role covers shift patterns in Cirencester, UK, with a competitive salary £30,000-£35,000, shift allowance, and a discretionary annual bonus. Strong measurement skills and GD&T experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or strong inspection experience.
• Excellent understanding of measurement techniques and first‑principle metrology.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Competent with CMMs, vision systems, and inspection tools (MCOSMOS desirable).
• Strong problem‑solving and report‑writing skills.
• Accurate, organised, proactive, and confident working independently or in a team.
• The ability to identify, analyze and resolve measurement issues and generate solutions.
• The ability to make informed decisions in relation to conformity.
• The ability to create Technical Reports.
• Experience of working in Medical, Orthopaedic or a highly regulated industry (desirable)

Metrology Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Metrology Engineer to support our Quality and Manufacturing teams. You’ll provide full metrology services across NPI, product investigations, capability studies, and process validation.

This role is to cover Double Days - Earlies - Monday to Thursday: 05:15–13:45
Friday: 05:15–10:45.

Lates Monday to Thursday: 14:00–22:30 and then Friday: 11:00–16:30

What you’ll do
