Job summary

McLaren Automotive seeks an experienced Metrology/Inspection Engineer to support precision measurement and quality Control. You will read engineering drawings, select and program CMMs, and ensure tight GD&T adherence using Catia V5, PC-Dmis, and Polyworks.

Candidate should have strong metrology background, experience with Faro/Romer portable equipment, and familiarity with PowerInspect. This role is based in the UK and offers a path for career development and industry-leading projects.

Qualifications

• Significant level of experience in metrology / inspection.
• Mechanical engineering background, preferably with automotive or aerospace experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T understanding.
• Experience in Catia V5.
• Experience in using and programming CMMs with PC-Dmis or Polyworks.
• Experience in portable measuring equipment - Faro and Romer.
• Knowledge of Delcam PowerInspect & Polyworks would be advantageous.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.
• City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required.

Requirements
