Job summary

Industrial Connected Talent is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Metrology to support UK-wide field-based work across customer sites. You will install, calibrate, and maintain multi-sensor metrology systems, ensuring precision and reliability.

The role requires regular travel, UKAS calibration experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and upgrade systems. Training is provided, with clear progression in a specialist engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Field service or engineering experience in metrology or precision measurement.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites with regular travel.
• Willingness to learn UKAS calibration standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Install multi-sensor metrology systems at customer sites.
• Carry out UKAS calibration and accuracy verification.
• Perform preventative maintenance and planned service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out system retrofits and upgrades.
• Provide hands-on customer support and technical guidance.
