Job summary

Industrial Connected Talent is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a hands-on role across the UK, installing, calibrating and servicing multi-sensor metrology systems at customer sites.

You will perform UKAS calibration, routine maintenance and upgrades while delivering technical guidance to customers. The position requires independent work at sites and regular travel, with training and long-term development within a specialist engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Field service or engineering experience.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Exposure to metrology, CMMs or precision measurement equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn UKAS calibration standards and processes.

Responsibilities

Industrial Connected Talent is supporting a leading supplier of precision measurement systems in the search for a Field Service Engineer.

This is a hands‑on field service role working with multi-sensor metrology equipment at customer sites across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, breakdown support and system upgrades.

As Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers across the UK, helping ensure measurement systems remain accurate, reliable and fully operational.
