Job summary

Catering in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an experienced Metrology Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team. You will create and edit CMM measurement programmes using PC-DMIS, perform dimensional inspection of mouldings, gauges and fixtures, and produce measurement reports (FAIR/ISIR/PPIR).

You will work with NPI, Quality, Manufacturing and Tooling teams to ensure dimensional accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong CMM programming experience, PC-DMIS proficiency, and a solid grasp of

Qualifications

Strong CMM operating and editing programming experience.
Good knowledge of PC-DMIS.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong understanding of dimensional measurement and analysis.
Experience with FAIR/ISIR/PPIR, MSA, Cpk and SPC.

Responsibilities

Creating and editing CMM measurement programmes using PC-DMIS.
Carrying out dimensional inspection of mouldings, gauges and fixtures.
Producing professional measurement reports, including FAIR, ISIR and PPIR.
Using CMMs, portable measuring arms and scanning equipment.
Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and GD&T.
Supporting NPI, Quality, Manufacturing and Tooling teams.
