Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting for multiple Metrology Engineer opportunities across the Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Dudley area, with permanent and contract positions available. The role requires hands-on experience with CMM equipment.

Ideal candidates will operate and program CMMs (creating programmes preferred) and have experience with MCOSMOS and/or PC-DMIS, along with a strong understanding of dimensional inspection.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and programming CMMs; creating programmes preferred.
• Experience using MCOSMOS and/or PC-DMIS.
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs to inspect components against drawings.
• Edit and optimise CMM programs based on inspection results.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve measurement issues.
