Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking a skilled Methods Engineer to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) in supporting Sizewell C's Enabling and Earthwork Section. You will help plan safe, efficient construction methods and coordinate with design teams to meet quality standards.

You'll develop construction methods, review temporary works and technical designs, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement to enhance safety, cost, and buildability across the project.

Qualifications

• Understanding of technically complex environments with focus on safety, security and environmental responsibility.
• Experience meeting tight deadlines, preferably in preconstruction stages.
• Experience and understanding of technical and delivery aspects of the scope.
• CSCS card held and up-to-date.
• Ability to read and interrogate temporary works drawings using CAD.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction methods safely, efficiently and to required quality.
• Develop construction methods, review temporary works and technical designs.
• Identify risks and support engineering and quality processes.
• Collaborate with project and design teams and drive buildability improvements.
• Produce Methodology and Risk Assessments and raise Temporary Works Briefs.
• Develop methods of work considering current design and temporary works.
• Produce earthworks quantities and maintain records.
• Review RFIs and contribute to solutions.
