We are looking for a Metering Team Leader to lead and inspire our Metering team in delivering exceptional end-to-end customer service on smart metering queries. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving both the quality and speed of query resolutions to ensure our customers are billed accurately using smart reads.

You’ll also lead key strategic projects, including Prepayment and potential Theft initiatives, expanding the team's contribution to business growth and supporting regulatory requests. An ideal candidate is adept at organizing, motivating, and developing teams, with a proven record for creative problem-solving and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Reporting into our Metering Operations Manager, Monica Murray, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and coaching your team to be best in class, delivering great results to customers and the business.
2. Delivering on key metrics to support our support functions.
3. Ensuring seamless customer journeys with cross-functional teams.
4. Process development, including mapping, continuous improvement, and collaboration with product and engineering teams.
5. Managing booking-related support efficiently.
6. Resolving metering-related complaints professionally.
7. Maintaining relationships with third parties around Smart Meter performance.
8. Monitoring and managing performance data.
9. Supporting coaching and upskilling within the team.
