Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check and provide 3 years of referencing.

Job description

Job title: Meter Reader

Location: Eigg

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 37hrs per week

Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonuses (OTE: £33,000 pa – with bonus earnings)

Bonus Points system: Can earn up to £500pm

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Job responsibilities will include:

1. Driving to a designated area local to you
2. Knocking on doors and being customer service friendly, making them aware you are checking Meter Readings
3. Obtaining utility meter readings at residential/commercial properties
4. Conducting visual inspections of metering equipment
5. Recording data through our client’s mobile/tablet app
6. Moving to the next location and repeating the process

MUST HAVE:

• Driving Licence, entitling you to drive in the UK - with no more than 6 points
• Use of your own vehicle with business insurance and current MOT
• Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
• 3 years referencing
