Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer to consult a broad range of metallic processing clients across automotive, aerospace, packaging and construction sectors.

You will join an international team of metallurgy, metal forming, thermomechanical processing, surfaces and coatings technology, materials characterization and analysis and process modelling experts to drive process or product development and solve technical problems on a global stage.

Qualifications

• Metallurgy knowledge ideally of aluminium alloy applications, products and processes.
• Degree level or equivalent in Materials Science, Engineering or Metallurgy.
• Sustainability and life cycle assessment techniques.
• Process-cost modelling.
• Numerical, data processing and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult on process or product development, research and technical problem resolution.
• Work within an international team of metallurgy, metal forming, thermomechanical processing, surfaces and coatings technology, materials characterisation and analysis and process modelling experts.
• Enable world class client performances and outcomes.
