Job summary

Reed is seeking a ProcessOperative / FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing operation in the UK. The role encompasses material handling, stock movement, metal processing and dispatch within a safety-focused environment.

The candidate should have warehouse metal/manufacturing experience, a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, and a proactive approach to health and safety, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/metals/manufacturing experience.
• Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience loading/unloading vehicles.
• Strong health and safety commitment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using a Counterbalance forklift.
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely.
• Complete operational paperwork and pre-use inspections.
• Process materials to customer specifications.
• Pack and prepare finished metal products for dispatch.
• Follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
• Support CI initiatives within the department.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets.
