Job summary

Baltic Recruitment is seeking a Metal Dresser for a client in Ferryhill on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves dressing welds and finishing components using electric and pneumatic grinders, pad sanding, and hand tools. Initially dayshift with potential shift rotation, training on induction, and progression opportunities within a supportive team. The position offers overtime and onsite facilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in metal dressing/finishing.
• Desirable but not essential: reading engineering drawings.
• Able to work unsupervised in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Dress welds on components to a high standard.
• Use hand tools including grinders and sanding tools as part of dressing process.
• Work in a shift environment with supervision and within production flow.
