Orion are partnered with a fabrication business located in Dunstable who are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Metal Works Finisher to join the team.

Metal Finisher Responsibilities:

• Polish and finish architectural metalwork components to high standard
• Operating polishing machines, hand tools, and abrasives to achieve finishes (mirror, satin)
• Inspect and prepare metal work surfaces
• Perform other fabrication duties such as cutting, grinding, folding drilling, countersinking, tapping, assembling etc..
• Maintain equipment in work areas

Metal Finisher Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a metalwork polisher/finisher
• Ideally experience in architectural fabrication
• Knowledge of different metal finishing techniques
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
