Job summary

NaturalMotion in London is seeking a talented Meta Designer to shape the metagame for our first-person shooter mobile title. You’ll own progression features end-to-end, coordinating across design, art, UX, engineering, and product management to craft a sustainable mobile experience.

You will work on live features, iterate with data, and balance economies while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to meet engagement goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Metagame / Progression / Engagement Design in the video game industry.
• At least one shipped title in a design role for a live service title.
• Experience designing progression, economy, or engagement features and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own metagame, progression, economy, and engagement features from concept to live.
• Define, analyze, and act on analytics, data, and KPIs for features.
• Collaborate with live and product management to boost engagement.
• Work with art, animation, audio, design and engineering to build content.
• Develop and balance in-game economies across metagame features.
• Ensure features meet engagement goals with UX and engineering alignment.
• Analyze player data and feedback to fix issues and retention barriers.
• Manage multiple designs in parallel with content pipelines.
