Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting a MET Technician in Glasgow to join a reputable vehicle repair centre. You will perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs across a range of makes and models in a modern, well-equipped workshop and contribute to high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a two-shift pattern to support work-life balance, with opportunities for ongoing manufacturer training and accreditation. A proven MET background and knowledge of vehicle systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MET Technician or in a similar role within the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are advantageous.
• Familiarity with manufacturer procedures and accreditation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conducting mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on vehicles of various makes and models.
• Diagnosing faults accurately and implementing effective repair solutions.
• Using modern tools and equipment to ensure repairs meet high standards.
• Completing repairs within specified timeframes and quality guidelines.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of repair work and parts used.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
