AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced MET Technician (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) in Wrexham. You will dismantle, repair and reassemble vehicles using manufacturer repair methods, working alongside skilled colleagues to restore vehicles to the highest standards.

You’ll handle hybrid and electric vehicle work, use advanced diagnostic tools, and participate in ongoing manufacturer and EV training with clear opportunities to progress your career.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician in an accident repair centre.

Responsabilités

• Strip and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-approved repair methods.
• Work confidently on hybrid and electric vehicles while following the latest safety procedures.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and digital workshop management systems.
• Interpret repair methods, digital job cards and technical repair information.
• Support ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) repairs and calibration processes.
• Ensure all repairs comply with BSI PAS 10125 standards.
• Collaborate with the wider bodyshop team to maximise efficiency and repair quality.
