More To Motor is seeking a skilled MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician in Reading. You will repair vehicles to factory specifications using modern equipment in a state-of-the-art body shop, with a 45-hour week and a Time Saved Bonus opportunity.

Applicants should have completed an MET apprenticeship and hold NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ qualifications, plus experience in a busy body shop. You will employ geometry work and 4-wheel alignment as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as MET Strip Fitter/Technician with a technical qualification.
• Experience in a busy body shop and ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiar with geometry work and 4-wheel alignment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow repair techniques and meet factory specifications.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and fix issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
