Job summary

ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a MET Technician to join the Activate Accident Repair team at Kings Langley. The role involves completing body work, stripping and refitting trim, and repairing panels on accident-damaged vehicles.

You will work with measuring equipment, jigs, welding tools and modern repair methods to ensure safety standards are met. A competitive bonus is offered along with generous holiday entitlements.

Qualifications

• ATA / NVQ level 3 in MET
• Good Communication skills
• Good Decision Making/Problem solving skills
• Good H&S knowledge/awareness
• Good Time management skills
• Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician.

Responsibilities

• Repair and panel damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with approved Repair Methodology and manufacturers standards.
• Use specialist body repair equipment – measuring equipment, body jigs, welding equipment and smart repair tools.
• Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.

About the role

To complete all body work, including stripping and refitting trim and panel interior. Refitting new / repaired panels and repairing small dents and minor body work for accident damaged vehicles.

Key responsibilities
