Job summary

A well-established Manufacturer Approved Accident Repair Centre in Camberley is looking for an experienced MET Technician / Fitter. The successful candidate will enjoy a flexible working environment, typical duties include diagnosing repairs and maintaining vehicles, and could earn up to £50,000 per year based on performance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience within an accident repair centre is essential.
• ATA qualification would be beneficial.

Job description

MET Technician / MET Fitter

Our Motor Trade Client is a family-run and well-established Manufacturer Approved Accident Repair Centre based in Camberley, and they are looking for an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop professionals.

Salary: £18 - £21.50 per hour DOE

Hours: 9 hours per day with flexible start and finish times (earlier the better)

Saturdays: Optional overtime paid at a flat rate

Typical duties of a MET Technician for our Client include:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet high standards
• Using the skills, knowledge, and techniques required for a MET Technician / Fitter role
• Identifying additional repair work and liaising with the bodyshop advisor
• Communicating effectively with team members
• Carrying out quality control checks

Your Experience as a MET Technician:

• Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• ATA qualification would be beneficial
• Experience within an accident repair centre

For your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter, you could earn up to £50,000.
