Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is recruiting a MET Bodyshop Technician to join the BMW Hailsham team. You will prepare vehicles to a high standard and liaise with the Bodyshop/Service Advisor to identify necessary work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate within a team and meet efficiency targets.
• A current valid MOT licence is advantageous but not essential; UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles to a high standard.
• Advising the Bodyshop/Service Advisor of any additional work necessary during the repair process.
• Working in a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and customer service levels.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of work.
