Group 1 Automotive is hiring a MET Bodyshop Technician for our BMW operation in Hailsham. You’ll prepare vehicles to high standards, advise on additional work, and work with a team to meet deadlines while keeping sharp product knowledge and superb customer service.

You’ll be part of a supportive, growing team with a focus on safety, efficiency, and delivering trusted experiences for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
• Thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines
• Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
• Proven ability to meet efficiency targets while maintaining a keen eye for detail
• Ability to collaborate and contribute positively within a team environment
• A current valid MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles to a high standard.
• Advising the Bodyshop/Service Advisor of any additional work necessary during the repair process.
• Working in a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues where necessary to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
