Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an MES Business Analyst to develop, support and improve OT systems across manufacturing sites. You will work with Manufacturing, Automation and IT to enhance data access, troubleshoot issues and deliver solutions that boost efficiency, security and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server databases and queries.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience integrating OT systems with enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of industrial communications and OPC environments.
• Experience with historian platforms such as IP21 and Proficy.

Responsibilities

• Develop OT applications using C#, .NET and web technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and data visibility.
• Manage manufacturing data platforms, support historians, including IP21 and Proficy, and develop reporting/integration solutions.
• Develop and support SQL Server databases, including queries, objects, performance, and security.
• Support OT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, virtual machines and backup solutions.
• Support SCADA and manufacturing systems, maintain iFIX/AVEVA InTouch applications, VBA functionality, and site production systems.
• Connect OT and IT systems, work with central IT on networking, firewalls, servers and governance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through strong technical standards, documentation, knowledge sharing and root cause analysis.
