Job summary

Executive Network Group in Birmingham is seeking a M.E.S Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will design, develop, and deliver a modern MES application on the shop floor, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires C# development, .NET 8+, Blazor, REST APIs, SQL Server, and secure, scalable solutions. You’ll work in a hybrid model with two days on-site.

Qualifications

• Commercial C# development experience with web applications and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET 8+, Visual Studio, REST APIs, JSON, SQL Server, Git, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience implementing security practices including multi-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance MES applications using C# and .NET 8+.
• Interpret business requirements into development and deliver responsive web apps using Blazor.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and design SQL Server solutions.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of applications.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams; support deployments via Azure DevOps.
