Job summary

MERKUR Casino UK is seeking a Team Member for a part-time role in Worksop. The position offers 24 hours per week with a pay rate of £12.84–£13.84 per hour and a night rate of £13.84 between 23:00 and 06:00.

You will be part of a friendly team delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high venue standards. The role requires flexible weekend and bank holiday availability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn the gaming environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of venue housekeeping and cleanliness of gaming areas.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and flag any suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration to 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and effectively.
• Deliver customer service that aligns with company standards and drives satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating per complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policies.
• Maintain a smart personal presentation and comply with dress code.
• Develop product knowledge to enhance the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Understand safeguarding policies and the Challenge 25 policy.
• Discourage harassment, discrimination or victimisation of staff or customers.

Duties include but not limited to:

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.
• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
• To own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.
• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
