Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Limited is seeking a Team Member (Nights) at Smethwick to deliver first-class customer experience in a busy gaming environment. You will work in a team, handle cashless and non-cash transactions, and uphold brand standards while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role is 38 hours per week with a night rate structure from £12.84 to £13.84 per hour. Benefits include a pension plan, life assurance, employee assistance and discounts, plus 28 days holiday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest standard, cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and surfaces
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines
• Monitor actions and behaviour of customers for suspicious or disruptive activity
• Assist with administration as required to 100% accuracy
• Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are a success
• Deliver customer service in line with company standards and achieve customer satisfaction
• Own and resolve problems, escalate when appropriate per policy
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation per brand dress code on duty
• Gain strong knowledge of company policies around safeguarding and anti-harassment

Duties

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.
• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
• To own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.
• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
