Job summary

MERKUR Slots in Kettering is seeking a Keyholder Nights to help deliver a warm, high-standard gaming experience. You will manage opening, trading and closing when the manager is away, and uphold housekeeping and customer service to a high standard.

You will need excellent communication, cash handling skills and a flexible rota including weekends/Bank Holidays. Training and progression opportunities are available within a large, respected group.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling sector.
• Flexible rota including weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Willingness to learn and progress; support training of others.
• Be a role model for the team.

Responsibilities

• Open, trade and close the venue in the absence of the Venue/Manager.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and clean gaming equipment, floors and surfaces.
• Provide change to customers and manage personal float.
• Assist with bingo, catering or other duties as required by the Venue/Duty Manager.
• Payout for machine faults when authorised by the Venue/Duty Manager.
• Monitor customer behaviour and report suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards.
• Assist with administration to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Support promotions to ensure they run smoothly and drive customer delight.
• Ensure high standard of personal presentation and adherence to dress code.
• Promote Responsible Gambling awareness.
