Job description

MBDA is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to lead specific M&A projects, ensuring they are coordinated, planned, and managed to completion.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days on-site per week due to workload

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and limitations relating to nationality and work rights may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG BPSS checks, managed by the MBDA Security Team.

The Role:

You will lead MBDA’s strategic M&A initiatives, working with financial, legal, and operational teams to execute deals across Europe, including France, the UK, Italy, and Germany. Your responsibilities include conducting due diligence, negotiations, and preparing documentation for regulatory approvals, shaping MBDA’s growth in the defense industry.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience/interest in Aerospace & Defense
• Experience with medium/small transactions
• Preferably M&A advisory, banking, accounting transaction services, or private equity background
• Strong project management skills
• Financial/legal education and understanding
• Ability to handle complex issues at senior levels
• Knowledge of MBDA and European markets is desirable
• Willingness to travel to France (~1-2 times/month) and other locations
