We're looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Ellesmere Port area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.

You'll be supervising and training your team to ensure they deliver excellent service for our clients and meet measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. Every day is different and rewarding! About the role:

The ideal recruitment area is Ellesmere Port, covering:

CH1 - CH2 - CH3 - CH34 - CH4 - CH41 - CH42 - CH43 - CH45 - CH46 - CH47 - CH48 - CH49 - CH5 - CH6 - CH60 - CH61 - CH62 - CH63 - CH64 - CH65 - CH66 - CH70 - CH8 - CH88 - CH99 - CW1 - CW10 - CW11 - CW2 - CW3 - CW4 - CW5 - CW6 - CW7 - CW8 - CW9 - ST5 - ST55 - ST7

The contracted hours are 30 per week, with supervisory tasks for 12 hours at £12.70/hour and client merchandising tasks for 18 hours at £12.21/hour.

• Supervising: Support scheduling, coach and train team members on merchandising principles, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality service.
• Compliance and Standards: Act as a compliance champion, adhering to standards, guidelines, store policies, health and safety, and following planograms for consistency.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Organize products on shelves and displays for maximum visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage effectively.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Build relationships with in-store colleagues and provide feedback to client teams via feedback applications.

What makes you excellent:

• Willing to travel across the area
• A full UK driving license and access to a car for business use
• Comfortable with manual handling and moving products
• Experience in retail merchandising, retail, or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and find solutions within set timeframes
• Pride in delivering high standards and service
• Experience supervising or coaching colleagues is a plus
• Willing to accept home deliveries of POS or stock items (additional pay)
• Confident using a company tablet for tasks like downloading briefs, taking photos, and answering questions
