Job summary

Asda is seeking a Merchandising Assistant for the Dinnerwear range. You will analyse buying patterns, track sales, and work with Buyers to set budgets and trading plans that maximise commercial value. The role blends data insight with supplier collaboration to deliver stylish, affordable George products.

The position is full-time with hybrid working after training, offering development opportunities within a values-driven retailer.

Qualifications

• Business or fashion-related degree or equivalent considered.

As a Merchandising Assistant in this incredibly fast-moving environment, you'll be part of the team that builds and executes a unique to George product proposition across all channels to meet our customers' needs and deliver commercial value.
Using data, you will analyse the past buying behaviours of our customers and then track and react to the current sales performance of George products in our stores.
Working closely with suppliers and alongside our Buyers, you'll agree budgets and trading plans to optimise sales and deliver stylish and affordable pieces that have the power to inspire joy and bring an unexpected smile to our customers.
