Job summary

Mamas & Papas is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the Travel & Equipment team at our Head Office near Huddersfield. You will help ensure products flow smoothly from factory to distribution centres in the UK and internationally, matching supply with demand.

Ideal candidates may come from a junior merchandising background or have a strong analytical/number-oriented mindset, with an interest in our nursery range and global product distribution.

Qualifications

• Junior or Trainee head office merchandising background preferred.
• Analytical mindset for flow of products from supplier to customer.

Responsibilities

• Support Travel & Equipment Merchandising in Head Office.
• Analyse weekly sales and stock intake; liaise with store teams, customer care and suppliers.

Based at our Head office on the outskirts of Huddersfield, our Merchandising team make sure from a customer’s perspective we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time for them whether that be in our stores, online or where we sell our award nursery products into other retailers across the UK and in over 30 countries around the world. Through continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Merchandising Assistant

The Role of Merchandising Assistant (Travel & Equipment)

This MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT role taking responsibility in supporting the Travel & Equipment Merchandising team. One of the biggest product areas within Mamas & Papas. This incredibly talented department and team will analyse the weekly sales and stock intake, speak with store teams, customer care, our suppliers, Hong Kong, China on a daily basis to make sure supply and demand match up and products flow smoothly from factory through to designated distribution centres (both UK and International).

If you come from a Junior or Trainee head office merchandise background, have an analytical mind in dealing with the flow of products from supplier or manufacturer to customer. Or even, come from a statistical or numbers orientated backgrounds and would love to work for the No. 1 brand in the Nursery sector, a global supplier of nursery products then please don’t hesitate apply.
