Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is helping a trend-setting fashion brand in the UK recruit a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser ready to advance. The role involves shaping product ranges, collaborating with Buying and Product teams, and leveraging trends to drive sales and profitability.

You will work from the brand’s North England head office, with relocation assistance offered for the right candidate. Strong analytics, Excel skills, and open-to-buy experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser within a fashion retail environment.
• Strong analytical, numerical and forecasting skills.
• Experience in stock planning, range building, intake management and Open-to-Buy.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience using merchandising systems.
• Leadership or mentoring experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, margin and profitability through effective range planning, forecasting and stock management.
• Collaborate with Buying and Product Development to create commercially successful collections.
• Identify trends and customer buying patterns to maximise sales.
• Manage seasonal plans, stock intake, availability and replenishment for strong product performance.
• Analyse weekly trading results and take action on slower-moving lines.
• Manage Open-to-Buy budgets and markdown strategies to maximise profitability.
• Support promotional activity and react quickly to changes in demand.
• Monitor competitor activity and store performance to stay ahead of trends.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams for smooth delivery.
• Coach and develop Allocator team to foster a high-performing culture.
