Job summary

You should have experience as an Assistant or Junior Merchandiser, strong numerical and Excel skills, and a good grasp of WSSI, Open-to-Buy and forecasting. This role offers career progression and a clear pathway into commercial merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or in a similar fashion merchandising role.
• Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills.
• Good understanding of WSSI, forecasting, stock management and Open-to-Buy.
• Commercial awareness and a passion for fashion retail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ambition to progress your career.

Responsibilities

• Support range planning, forecasting and departmental trading performance.
• Analyse sales, stock and margin performance to identify commercial opportunities.
• Assist with Open-to-Buy budgets, WSSI and stock management.
• Monitor stock intake, availability and supplier deliveries.
• Support markdown planning and effective stock control.
• Work closely with Buying and wider teams to maximise sales and profitability.
• Identify trading trends and recommend actions to improve performance.
