Job summary

CPM is seeking a Merchandiser in Dorchester to support new launches, refreshes, and promotional activity. You will visit a variety of stores within ~10 miles, setting up POS, stocking shelves, and maintaining appealing displays. Use your own car for material transport and report via our app.

The role requires reliability, independence, and the ability to communicate well with store staff. Flexible hours from Mon-Sun with some fixed visits on Tue/Thu/Sat, with ongoing training and opportunities

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience with Boots, department stores or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Available Monday to Sunday with fixed visits Tue/Thu/Sat.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up POS materials.
• Navigate fixtures (gondolas, bays, shelving) confidently.
• Merchandise products per planograms.
• Maximize stock on shelves to drive sales and keep displays vibrant.
• Arrange and top up products so they’re eye-catching and easy to find.
• Negotiate extra display space to boost sales.
• Some stock movement and lifting may be required.

Job description

We are looking for Merchandisers in the Dorchester area. Approx 4 - 6 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods) £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available. Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ideal experience would be in retail or merchandising - health & beauty would be beneficial - supporting new launches, refreshes, or promotional activity. Use of a car is essential.

Ideal location: Dorchester, United Kingdom, DT1

Territory covering: Dorchester (you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here) and surrounding

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving)
• Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
• Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.
• Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they’re eye-catching and easy for customers to find.
• Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.
• Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Someone who is available Monday to Sunday. We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
• Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home).
• Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app — this includes sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback.
