Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking a commercially minded Merchandise Analyst in Watford for a 4–5 month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on turning data into commercial recommendations across product, pricing, promotions, inventory and customer behaviour, with advanced Excel, Pivot Tables and Power Query essential.

You will work with the merchandising leadership team in a hybrid setup (2 days in the office, 3 days at home), using Power BI/Tableau and SQL/Python where helpful to drive

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail buying & merchandising environment.
• Background as AM/JM or similar analytical role.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Analyse product performance, pricing, promotions, inventory productivity, customer behaviour, market share and store space productivity.
• Support line planning, in-season analysis, hindsight reporting and strategic merchandising activity.
