Job summary

GrippaTank Limited in Northamptonshire designs and manufactures water purification and pressure-washing systems and seeks a practical Workshop Engineer. You will build, install, test and maintain our vehicle-mounted and static systems, using your hands-on skills to ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role involves converting equipment for vehicles, installing pumps and plumbing components, wiring 12V electrical systems and testing completed builds to meet our standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of practical workshop/hand-on engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative in a busy environment.
• Meticulous eye for detail and high standards of finish.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, test and maintain vehicle-mounted and static water systems.
• Convert and install equipment into commercial vehicles.
• Install pumps, tanks, hoses and plumbing components and 12V electrical equipment.
• Test systems against criteria and diagnose faults.
• Travel to customer locations and support on-site installations when needed.
