Job summary

Walker & Sloan in Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic MEP Revit Technician to join its growing design team. You will produce and develop detailed Revit models for mechanical, electrical and public health services across a varied portfolio of live projects, with full in-house training and ongoing support.

The role is office-based from newly refurbished offices close to Newport Road in Cardiff, offering opportunities to broaden your Revit and MEP capabilities while collaborating with experienced

Qualifications

• Confident using Autodesk Revit in an MEP/building services context.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical services and how they are installed in buildings.
• Organised, accurate and able to manage several pieces of work simultaneously.
• Desire to learn and develop Revit and MEP capabilities over time.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, coordinated Revit models and technical drawings for live projects.
• Model mechanical and electrical services and show how systems interact within the building design.
• Move between priorities across several projects and meet deadlines with focus and organisation.
• Collaborate with colleagues rather than working in isolation and take ownership as experience grows.
• Progressively broaden understanding of MEP design, construction and installation methods.
