Higgins McGrath is seeking a Mechanical Quality Manager to lead QA/QC across multiple live MEP projects in the Greater London area. You will drive right-first-time delivery, manage NCRs and coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and clients.
The role requires strong mechanical services experience, ISO 9001 knowledge, and excellent communication to influence standards on site from installation through handover.
MEP Quality Manager / Mechanical Quality Manager
You'll join a well-established mechanical services contractor specialising in commercial, hospitality and residential projects, with expertise across mechanical installations including heating, plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation and BMS. The business has been operating since 2007 and has built a team of 50+ employees around technical expertise and quality delivery.
Quality here isn't simply a compliance exercise. It's about delivering installations correctly, reducing rework and giving clients confidence in the finished product.
As Mechanical Quality Manager, you'll become the quality lead across multiple live projects, working closely with project teams, engineers, subcontractors and clients.
You'll have genuine influence over how quality is delivered from installation through commissioning and handover.
We're looking for someone with:
A trade background combined with progression into quality management would also be considered.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days filling in paperwork and looking for someone to blame.
You'll have the opportunity to influence projects, improve processes and work alongside experienced engineering and project teams where your judgement genuinely matters.
