Job summary

People Group Limited are recruiting an experienced MEP QA Manager to lead quality assurance on a large-scale data centre project in East London. You will develop and manage the Project Quality Plan in line with ISO 9001, oversee QA processes on site and drive continual improvement across all MEP phases.

The role requires strong QA leadership, excellent communication and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager or Senior QA Engineer within the MEP/building services sector.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001.
• Experience on large-scale commercial projects (£20m+ MEP) desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Project Quality Plan in line with ISO 9001.
• Oversee QA processes across the site, ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead internal audits and manage third-party audit activity.
• Work closely with engineering, delivery, and commissioning teams to embed a culture of quality.
• Report on QA performance and drive continual improvement across all MEP phases.
• Provide mentoring and support to site-based QA reps and project engineers.
• Act as the QA lead across the lifecycle of the project, from pre-con to handover.

Salary: £100 - 115k + Travel Paid + 25 Days Annual Leave +Healthcare, Pension + bonus

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a major MEP contractor for an experienced MEP QA Manager to join a hyperscale Data Centre project based in East London. The MEP package value is approximately £70 million, with a lengthy project duration offering long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile scheme with one of the industry's most respected contractors, known for their quality delivery across sectors such as data centres, commercial, healthcare, residential, and education.

The Role:
