BMSL Group is recruiting on behalf of an established business seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager (mechanical bias).

What You’ll Do

• Preferably have a Mechanical background/bias, but should understand and be comfortable managing Electrical trades.
• Experience in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.
• Consult closely with the site construction team.
• Be conversant with and able to manage specialist MEP trades, BMS Systems, Smoke Ventilation, Sprinklers, etc.
• Possess knowledge and experience of incoming Mechanical & Electrical Services.
• Hold and chair regular design review and progress meetings.
• Understand programmes, produce project programmes, measure ongoing site progress, and develop short-term programmes.
• Be capable of understanding drawings, specifications, and design details, and able to procure plant and sub-contractors accordingly.
• Produce monthly reports detailing progress, cost, programme, quality, and Health & Safety.
• Provide quality reports.
• Assist the MEP commercial team with compiling monthly cost reports.
• Manage client and sub-contractor variations.
• Attend client, team, and Contract Review meetings.
• Assess sub-contractor RAMS and quality plans.
• Ensure work faces are available in accordance with the programme.
• Collate and manage Operating & Maintenance manuals.

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years project experience, preferably from an established MEP business.
• ONC or HNC Building Service qualification or equivalent experience.

Salary Bracket: £60k - £75k plus package.
