Job summary

Trident Building Consultancy in the UK is expanding with a hands-on MEP Consulting Lead to build a national advisory service, shape its direction and engage an existing investor, developer and occupier client base.

You will lead the MEP offering across the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility to design, delivery and handover, while developing processes, tools and market propositions and building a collaborative team as the service grows.

Qualifications

• Substantial MEP consulting experience and a background in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering.
• Comfortable across the project lifecycle from early advice to delivery.
• Strong client relationships and technical credibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide MEP advice for condition surveys, due diligence, asset reviews and portfolio assessments.
• Develop MEP and decarbonisation strategies, feasibility studies and practical solutions for existing buildings and new projects.
• Oversee MEP design, project delivery, commissioning and handover.
• Identify opportunities within existing client relationships and win new work.
• Establish the service’s processes, tools and market proposition.
• Build and lead a collaborative team as the service grows.

Turner Property Recruitment is working exclusively with Trident Building Consultancy to appoint an MEP Consulting Lead. This is an opportunity for an experienced, hands on engineer to build a national MEP advisory service, shape its direction and work with an established client base of investors, developers and occupiers.

Trident is an employee owned, B Corp certified building consultancy with a strong commitment to sustainability and collaboration. The new MEP service will help clients improve the performance of their buildings, from initial assessment and feasibility through to design, delivery and handover.

The role

You will develop Trident’s MEP offering while remaining close to clients and technical delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing MEP advice for condition surveys, technical due diligence, asset reviews and portfolio assessments.
• Developing MEP and decarbonisation strategies, feasibility studies and practical solutions for existing buildings and new projects.
• Overseeing MEP design, project delivery, commissioning and handover.
• Identifying opportunities across Trident’s existing client relationships and winning new work.
• Establishing the service’s processes, tools and market proposition.
• Building and leading a collaborative team as the service grows.

About you

You will bring substantial MEP consulting experience and a background in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering. You will be comfortable working across the project lifecycle, from early advice and feasibility to design and delivery.
