Job summary

4Front Recruitment is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join a growing pre-construction team delivering hyperscale data centre projects across the UK. You will develop accurate MEP estimates and cost plans, collaborating with Design, Engineering and Commercial teams to shape tender strategy from early stages to submission.

Based in Chippenham, the role involves reviewing drawings, analysing quotations and identifying risks and VE opportunities to deliver competitive bids with strong

Qualifications

• Experience estimating mechanical, electrical and public health installations.
• Ability to review MEP drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Experience preparing MEP cost plans, quantity take-offs and detailed estimates.
• Experience obtaining, analysing and negotiating specialist subcontractor quotations.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost plans.
• Prepare detailed MEP estimates and quantity take-offs for tenders.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor quotations and assess risks.
• Identify design, procurement and buildability risks and advise on VE options.
