Job Title: MEP Engineering Lead

Our Water company client is seeking an MEP Engineering Lead for their Havant Thicket Reservoir project on a permanent basis.

Role Overview

The MEP Engineering Lead will support the Engineering Manager in delivering a landmark infrastructure development. Responsibilities include managing design reviews, technical queries, ensuring compliance with safety standards, overseeing engineering work packages, and engaging with internal teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Chair regular meetings with the Design Guardians to discuss lookahead, actions, and issues.
• Manage responses to Technical Queries and Design Submissions from contractors.
• Monitor and review the performance of the Design Guardian against KPIs.
• Coordinate engineering requests with contractors.
• Participate in collaborative planning with Main Works Contractors.
• Lead weekly meetings with Operations to resolve queries.
• Facilitate technical workshops to ensure alignment on solutions.
• Represent engineering at Early Warning meetings.
• Provide progress updates and reports to the HTR Engineering Manager.
• Review Contractors' Programmes monthly for resource forecasting.
• Develop engineering papers for stakeholder engagement.
• Attend regular meetings with the HTR Engineering Manager.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Team player with interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage inputs from multiple parties.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.
