Job summary

Kier Group's Kier Design team in Liverpool or London is seeking a MEP Design Team Lead to oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for large-scale projects.

The role requires a Chartered Engineer and membership of CIBSE or IET, a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering, and proven leadership of a multi-disciplinary technical team delivering sustainable, compliant designs. You will develop client relationships and drive quality while leading the team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with membership in CIBSE or IET.
• Experience leading a multi-discipline technical team.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience applying quality procedures and document control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Building Services team delivering coordinated MEP design solutions.
• Maintain technical excellence and ensure compliant, cost-effective design delivery.
• Drive innovation and develop the team while shaping Building Services' future.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and manage team utilisation.
• Support business development including fee production and client meetings.
