Job summary

Bimplus in Leeds seeks two Associate level Building Services Engineers to lead MEP design delivery across a diverse project portfolio, mentoring staff and strengthening client relationships.

The role combines technical leadership, commercial awareness, and high-quality delivery from concept through to completion, with opportunities to influence growth of the Leeds office.

You will work closely with directors, ensure designs meet current standards, and promote sustainable, low-carbon design.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
• Significant experience in building services design and MEP leadership.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Chartered engineer status or actively pursuing it.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership for MEP design from concept to completion.
• Lead multi-disciplinary projects and act as a key point of contact with clients.
• Review outputs, ensure compliance with standards, and drive quality and sustainability.
• Support business development and contribute to bids and client meetings.
• Line manage and mentor engineers, supporting performance reviews.
