Job summary

Crown House Technologies, the MEP delivery specialist and part of Laing O\'Rourke, is seeking a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager to own a major MEP package on the Stansted Airport Transformation Programme. Qualifications

• NEC contract knowledge within MEP/infrastructure delivery.
• Experience as Commercial Manager in MEP or main contractor.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• MRICS status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of a major MEP package, including subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Drive commercial, contractual and financial performance to maximise profit, cash flow and margin.
• Lead MEP commercial delivery through pre-construction and construction phases.
• Support project teams and promote best practice across MEP delivery.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, contract reviews and business updates.
• Manage procurement, subcontracts, variations, claims and change control.
• Monitor project costs and overall MEP commercial performance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and wider project teams.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to support project delivery and risk management.
• Support budget setting and ongoing financial control from contract award.
• Develop junior commercial staff and support wider team capability.

Theopportunity:

Crown House Technologies, the specialist MEP delivery business of Laing O'Rourke, is seeking an MEP Commercial Manager to play a key role in the delivery of the Stansted Airport Transformation Programme, a landmark aviation infrastructure project.

We're open to applications from both experienced Senior Commercial Managers and ambitious Commercial Managers ready to step up into a more senior role, so don't be discouraged by the job title. What will the role look like?

• Ensure proper contract administration and escalat...eep key commercial risks where required.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Strong NEC contract knowledge within MEP and infrastructure delivery.
• Proven experience as aCommercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager within the MEP sector, gained with a specialist MEP contractor or a main contractor.
• Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management)
• Member of RICS or working towards achieving MRICS status preferable.
