Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is delivering HS2’s MEP leadership for the Central Midlands package. The MEP Architectural Package Engineer coordinates interfaces between Mechanical, Electrical and architectural works across the project lifecycle, ensuring packages are fully coordinated, integrated, and delivered to programme, quality standards and client expectations.

Based in Birmingham, this role covers design coordination, package management, and IM & Digital Engineering in a BIM-enabled environment

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP Engineering and architectural coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and BIM models.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary interfaces on construction projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural and MEP design information across all project stages.
• Review drawings, specifications, BIM models and technical submissions.
• Manage interfaces between MEP services and architectural elements.
• Coordinate specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support clash detection and model coordination processes.
• Ensure information is maintained in accordance with BIM standards and ISO 19650 requirements.
