Job summary

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a Personal Advisor to support care leavers aged 16-25, handling a caseload and delivering individual work, group-work and activity programmes. You will assess needs, create and review Pathway Plans and guide them into adulthood as a valued member of the Leaving Care Team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks for care leavers.
• Knowledge of education, training, employment and housing for young people.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and promoting welfare of young people.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of young people aged 16-25 years and provide direct work.
• Deliver group-work and activity programmes and flexible working as needed.
• Assess needs, create and review Pathway Plans and support transition to adulthood.
• Motivate and help young people access available resources and services.
• Be a consistent support in the Leaving Care Team.
