Job title: Healthcare Assistant - Day Shifts
Location: Southport
The Role
Assist patients with daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Aid in patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Help maintain a clean and organised patient environment, including changing linens and tidying rooms
Provide emotional support to patients and families, offering companionship and empathy
Assist with basic medical procedures, such as wound dressing changes and catheter care
Transport patients within the facility for tests, procedures, or appointments
Document patient information and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient healthcare operations
