Service Care Solutions are recruiting Mental Healthcare Workers to work at one of our Independent Hospitals in Preston.

Shifts:

• Monday to Sunday
• 07:00-19:30 Days | 19:00-07:30 Nights

Rate:

£13.69 - £19.00ph PAYE Inclusive

Service Information

The service is a 38-bed facility specialising in the management and treatment of acute mental ill health and eating disorders. It offers a range of services across 3 units, including Acute Mental Health Units and Eating Disorders. The hospital has an excellent reputation and holds an overall Good CQC rating.

Located within rural green hospital grounds, it is easily accessible via the M6 and M55, with free parking available for staff.

Role Description

As a Mental Healthcare Worker, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of a qualified nurse. You should have good communication skills, excellent teamworking abilities, be highly self-motivated, flexible, and have some understanding of mental health conditions.

Person Specification

• Experience working with Acute Mental Health and/or eating disorders
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly and commit to the specified shifts
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• NVQ or equivalent is desirable
• Driving license is beneficial due to location and shift times, but local bus services are available
