Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Ward Administrator for Tazetta, a male acute mental health inpatient ward at the Oleaster Centre. This part-time role covers Monday to Friday mornings with some flexible start/end times and supports the ward multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and professionals, manage patient-related administration and maintain electronic records,

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent administrative qualification.
• Level 4 or Diploma in Administrative related subject.
• Experience with minute taking and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the ward and multidisciplinary team.
• Manage patient information, admissions, transfers and discharges documentation.
• Maintain electronic patient records in line with information governance policies.
• Handle correspondence, emails, calls and diary arrangements for the ward team.
• Monitor ward supplies and equipment through procurement processes.
• Ensure accurate filing and secure storage of records.
